Smiling's inappropriate when you're singing about the sea of heartbreak - obviously know nothing about it. Learn from Don Gibson.

Joe, has the 'X' factor. Bet he'd be good on Dancin with the Stars, or Dancin on the Ice.

Seen Joe and his band 6-7 times, what a great show he outs on. Tragic what happened to his previous 2 band members a few years back.

If you were listening to music in the 60s, do try to go to a Joe Brown concert. His performances are absolutely spot on. The shows come over as fresh and enthusiastic. I don't know whether it's at Joe's insistence, but the sound quality and levels are comfortable, i.e. it's a strong sound that won't make your ears bleed. So much live music today is made to sound like an overblown railway station Tannoy, devoid of all musicality. Unless Joe has gone deaf in the meantime and cranked up the pain control, then you are assured of a rhythmical and musical experience. That'll be 2 free tickets please Joe.

Wow, one of the best covers I've heard of this, one of my favourite country songs. Grew up with Joes music always there on the radio etc, knew he was good, but never quite did it for me. All that's just changed.
