I have now seen three Joe Bonamassa concerts and I am positive surprised every time.

Joe Bonamassa is amazing - There are so many music styles together in his music arts - I like that a lot.

Joe Bonamassa: Guitar, Vocals -

Carmine Rojas: Bass -

Bogie Bowles: Drums -

Rick Melick: Keyboards -

Had To Cry Today by Steve Winwood

he makes John Mayor and Derek trucks seem over rated and overhyped... definitely in the shredding department. Looks to be the greatest blues guitarist after Clapton. His natural successor probably... but singing sucks unlike Clapton who is an awesome singer as well. This solo by Joe is phenomenal shredding but not quite as melodious as Clapton's version.. check out clapton and steve winwood perform this same song at madison square garden to know what i mean

Very good guitarist no matter what the experts say about who is best, blah, blah. But, he can't sing the blues. Sorry but it is the truth. Still, seen him live twice now and well worth it!

Big fan......... Joe is just drop dead great. Always seems like a true gentleman too. I've seen him 6 times and have every album. Mayer is harder to like and gets "in the news" too much, and it's rarely positive. NO DOUBT he can play up a storm but.... I have not ponied up for any John Mayer tickets, hope I'm not missing out on too much.

I actually love both Mayer and Joe B for differing reasons. To try to compare or equate them is pointless.

Seriously, some of you out in YouTube land truly overestimate the importance of your own thoughts and opinions. Either you enjoy the music, or you move on to another video. I happen to enjoy Joe's music. I am clearly not alone. Disagree? Move on.

This is really good amateur footage - and of course, Joe is incredible. I appreciate the fact that he doesn't try to emulate Steve Winwood's voice, but interprets the melody in a way that suits him.

Sorry yo burst your bubble but Joe is a great guitarist right up there with Gary Moore, don't get me wrong Gary Moore was is one of my favorite guitarists but,Joe takes his style from many places and makes his own he is one of the best living guitarists playing today. Not to mention he never tries to be any one other than himself when he.s covering other musicians songs. He plays them like Joe Bonamassa and he's very, very good!

John Mayer did the blues as a continuation of himself. He likes pop ( which just means popular music ) and he does it because he likes it. That does not make him a sellout. That's just bad philosophy..
