Joe and Jim with as good a version as I have EVER heard. These two were just magic together. I have admired Jim for 30 plus years when he was with the Detroit Wheels and with the Rockets. I had lost track of him. So I am hanging at Sound check and guess who walks up and shakes my hand! He was a fantastic gentlemen and shared some time with me. He was so down to earth. My battery ran out and had to change it mid song. Sorry, but I only missed a few seconds and splice the two videos to one. Unfortunately it was the beginning of the first solo. Great job Jim! Joe was perfect all night. What a night. I won't soon forget it.

WTF do people see in this guy? absolutely nothing original, just musical masturbation, jacking off over Clapton, etc.

wow..something i hate and love about this? Joe's awesome..but Jim's an original and on my most loved records. I can't dispute Joe's guitar wizardry..he started at a very early age and learned the hell out of the guitar.. glad he recognizes some pioneers of blues, rock and R&B !!

Great upload. This song is Joe's staple foe guest artists. Everyone knows it and can wing a solo back and forth. Of course it sounds like a Clapton cover in style because it is. What a treat to see such a great pair jamming together and having fun.

Hey, I love listening to Jim as much as anybody. If you want to hear this song done differently, look up the Cosmic Travelers/1972

You are quite right. Please check out the Buddy Miles Express LP, Electric Church featuring Jim playing "Texas". Jim also was featured on Buddy Miles LP with "Them Changes" and "Neil Young's 'Down by the River."

There's 2 of them? I was expecting to see the drummer from the Yardbirds. Just as well, I'd rather hear a great guitarist.

You should never compare Joe to John....Mayer's not even in the same galaxy as Joe.

Actually, I can hear a lot more Gary Moore's style in Joe's playing (also for his own admission)

Joe Bonamassa is better than average, but I've noticed as well, that's there too much Clapton in his style and not enough of his own or basically yet to develop his own. Doesn't mean Joe is bad, but I couldn't pick him out in a crowd of guitar players. Jim McCarty, however, does have a unique style that was noticeable from his Cactus days. He is best blues guitarist alive in my estimation. Don't believe so, listen to "No Need to Worry" off the Restrictions album.

Joe is just playing Clapton-notes her.. Oh my god, another copycat. just like John Mayer who is copying Stevie Ray Vaughan...
