Yeah me too, DeVante and Jodeci may not have sold as many records but we can all agree that they put a huge influence and culture shock in the Hip Hop and R&B world. A lot of artist would not be here today if it wasn't for Jodeci.Also I think DeVante's production was pure genius. He wrote the whole Forever My Lady album at 16! That's insane. Every song that DeVante produced had magnificent composing and always made me ask myself how can a human being think of a sound like this. It amazes me.

well I think they were both in two separate leagues catering for completely different markets so probably not a good idea to compare them(kinda like comparing tennis with american football) but Prince's music and songwriting was on a International level and had a mass appeal so really that says it all...However on personal level I felt Devantes music more and and it inspired me during the 90's and to the present day.
