If everyone's talking about vocals.. It took me six to seven years to reach a true, band quality scream. I can say confidently I could compare with the best, and can immitate numerous styles... Anything from JFAC (my specialty) to Black Dahlia, which is much different to vocally achieve. To those who disrespect it, screaming is performed through the same method as singing. They are identical, with screaming derriving it's difficulty from actually producing the sounds themselves, while singing (which anyone can do, however poorly) is more focused on hitting specific notes. I always define screaming as "singing with distortion", and have no doubts it will eventually come to be respected by all musicians as a legitimate form of vocalization, regardless of its inaccessability to a general audience, unpleasantness to most, and uniqueness.

i recently took up singing like this and it is hard. It took me years just to figure out how to do it. its so fun but im still not good at high vocals.

Thank you for not being the normal "old school" person. There is science behind screaming and it takes talent, but they won't understand.

being a 41 yr old life long headbanger/metal chic I make sure i try everything my kids , now life metal heads as well, i listen to what they suggest. these guys are good, and an obvious part of this genres future. hey old school, get over it and hop on. This generation is NOT stupid, and very talented, with a vision more than instant excess.

It's no Exhumed... But it's better than the Deathcore they used to play.
