there a pretty simple rule, if it has breakdowns in it its deathcore, because breakdowns came originally from metalcore.(also rhytmn kinda plays a part) if its just "straight" vocal cords and riffs, its death metal.

You're retarded..... back when this was released it was considered "Deathcore". Now it's still Deathcore but they have matured and changed into Death Metal in their newer stuff. Thy Art is Murder is more Death Metal than these guys even are. I don't think you know what Death Metal's even like without wikipedia-ing it.

There is a reason that genre's exist. Don't be ignorant. This is Death Metal. Pure and Simple. Parkway Drive is the best example of Metalcore. Thy Art is Murder is Deathcore. There are plenty of instances where categorizing a band are just used for the purpose of pissing everyone else off that listens to the song. Shut the fuck up and get over your fucking egos. :)
