It's different yet,never the less I still found it to be soulful just the same. Joanna's harsh vocal stylings are very much complementary to her extremely lush and fluid harp instrumentation. Her version if this song may not be for some but it totally works.

Listening to her singing style makes me think it's in fact intended, whether conciously or subconsciously. To provoke. To weed out superficial listeners from the ones with deeper understanding of musical ideas and content. She's an artist with no visible desire to be liked by all or even by many.
