Many years ago, before she became her famous self, I was riding my bike around the East Village in NYC around midnight. 2nd Ave. I heard this band and this voice man...I was like "Holy Shit..who is that?" It was "The Joan Osborn Blues Band." That's what she was doing and she was incredible.

She is amazing! Nothing bad against Winehouse at all because she was an amazing performer and its way too bad she didn't get the help that could have saved her. I will say that Osborne is in the same legue as her though.
