Debut single, featuring singer Mark Greaney, drummer Fergal Matthews and girl bassist Hilary Woods.

This Irish band managed some entries into the UK charts (in the 20-something region) in the early 2000's. This appearance was for a re-entry of their first single, originally released in November 1999.

They split in June 2006.

These guys were so under-appreciated at the time, imo with one of the best vocalists ever. To capture all this angelic beauty and angst all in one is god given. I've been reverting back to old songs recently and recorded a few JJ72 covers(This, Improv and Brother Sleep), if you care to listen would love any feedback. Sorry for the plug, Peace.

I loved this band when I was in junior high... how could a young girl not like Mark... so cute.

Do think though that some of the comments about comparing them to Muse is a tad unfair, JJ72 only produced 2 albums before splitting up (though both faultless in my opinion), Muse have released countless more, so have had more scope to develop their music

Do agree with some of the comments below, think they would have been much, much better than Muse if they'd stayed together....

Awesome band, they should have been much, much bigger...do still listen to their two albums quite regularly, shame they split up, would love to see them reform....

Sorry, apart from the high singing they don't sound like Muse (= Radiohead sound) at all. This is pure Britpop rather in the vein of Manic Street Preachers or Suede.
