Years ago when I was a kid, I left the comment on this video of the lyrics, and now can't find it, so here they are again. Whoops! Sorry, I removed a few comments because I had his and Donny's ages mixed up with different performances. It was Donny who debuted at 5 on Andy Williams. I'm only just now coming across their earliest stuff and realize Jimmy's was quite a remarkable debut at only age 3.

@whitehousetexas - Jimmy was not 5 but 8 years old in this video. This video was made in 1971 in Japan and he was born in 1963. So he was 8 in 1971.

@chewybunz - it's too bad I never got to see any of those shows. All I see now are the videos of those Donny shows. As for the Brady kids, I saw the movie "Brady Bunch" in 1994 which stars "Shelly Long" and "Gary Cole" as the father if I am not mistaken or remembered correctly. It's very cute. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

@asianfanofdonny Yes, I've watched reruns of "The Brady Bunch" and "The Partridge Family" since childhood. I had a crush on Bobby Brady in the later episodes! The Osmond brothers nver had a regular series, as I recall, but appeared on numerous specials. However, Donny and Marie had a poupular variety show in the 70s, and the older siblings were sometimes on that.

@chewybunz - you mean the "Brady Kids", they are cute too. But I like the Osmonds better. Another famous group is the Partridge Family too.

@asianfanofdonny It's interesting, too, the physical parallel - in the 70s - between the Osmond brothers and the Brady boys. Both Jimmy and "Bobby" were the youngest, with freckles and sandy hair. The older siblings were taller, with darker hair. I have to wonder if "The Brady Bunch" producers had the Osmonds in mind when they did final casting. Anyhow, I enjoyed seeing Jimmy in THE GREAT BRAIN back in the 80s, although, if memory serves me correctly, he was noticeably heavy at the time.
