I don't understand why this album isn't recognized by many. The record producer said "it's out of print for a good reason" because it's different than all their future stuff.I don't think that we should disregard music because it's different. Some will embrace it, some will hate it. If people don't like it, they should accept the fact that it exists and move on.

Jimmy Eat World would be off the charts had Tom stayed as lead vocal and Mitch Porter didn't leave. I will admit I thought Bleed America was pretty good. But This and static prevails are by far my fav. JEW albums.

My favorite Jimmy Eat World album and I love all their albums! This is my favorite song from this album! It rocks! If I ever start my own record company, I'm re-issuing this album! I love this song!

oops forgot to mention influences BEFORE blink was a band. Blink formed in 92' when JEW and the Get Up Kids didn't even exist. I guess that's what im trying to say.
