Here's one for you--I don't know if Jimmy Buffett had a mid-life crisis but he did separate from his wife for years and caroused around with Rita Coolidge and others....When his wife got him to go to marriage counselling he said that he was so used to performing that he was able to fool the therapist into thinking it was only his wife who had the problem. He never filed for divorce, though. Then a decade later he flipped his seaplane and was hanging upside down under water and only some emergency escape training he had taken gave him the presence of mind to get himself out. He found a therapist who saw through the mask and he decided he had to go back and fill the hole he had been carrying around in his heart. Funny but this song seems to indicate that maybe-------talks about being in a big deep hole and trying to climb out and finding the answer was in himself. And it's even called: Jimmy Buffett - Boomerang LoveIt just goes to show that the OW don't hold a candle to reality, maybe that is why they all turn into whiny control freaks who won't get their own life.
