Did he film this in Far North Queensland?Just wondering, because I grew up near Innisfail and this looks pretty similar to that area. Nothing but cane fields and mountains as far as the eye can see.

Oh my giddy aunt...he's sooo young! Love him always. Sad how we all grow old. We look at these videos and think of ourselves as still being that age again.

wow...it make you feel that there's nothing bad about being a working class man, even you cannot be a middle -class or high-class man!

This song is so memorable to me for one reason. After my parents split I lived with my Dad during my teens. My Dad is a diesel mechanic, a hardcore Cold Chisel fan and a total Working Class Man. One day I got home from school and found him watching this film clip, perched on the edge of his seat, pumping his fist, yelling "yeah, yeah, I'M A WORKING CLASS MAN!!" He didn't see me til it was too late. It remains one of my fondest memories of my Dad.

This "working class" reference is absurd in relation to 20th & 21st-century Australia. There are no set social classes, but no doubt Barnes would regard himself as a "Working class" millionaire. Work, study, persevere and you can become more than a mere "worker"
