Our lead singer &(Former Environment Minister) from one of Australia's most iconic bands 'Midnight Oil' (Midnight O & formed in the1970's is back out of politics & has started making music again & looks much happier for it. Hoping the gradually speeding up pace of Peter Garrett appearing doing things with ex Midnight Oil members & Jimi Barnes, solo & with a combo of Midnight Oil & Cold Chisel members forecast's a massive Australia wide Midnight Oil & Cold chisel Double-Header concert lineup..... Ps It took me till the 24th of January to finally think of a New Years wish, lol :)

That was better than I thought it was going to be. I love Tull and the Oils, but still it seemed like it should be incongruous. Hilarious that Peter auditioned with that.

2 of Australia's best. Unusual to see them together and an acoustic performance too.

This is cool, Pete's my favorite singer still.

Garrett seems to have lost his voice a little, maybe that's why he chose to go into politics, so he can lose at that too.

The Oils did covers from time to time-Instant Karma by John Lennon out the front of the Exxon building in New York,Know Your Product by the Saints and one I saw live at a gig was a pretty nice cover of Atomic Electric by Rebecca's Empire. But with so many great Oils songs it would have been hard to fit many in. Come back Pete the Radio needs you to come and save it from the garbage they play today. This a good duet,Barnsey's voice does get better with age.
