A song has to be popular first in order to be a hit. Trust me I'm the last one to want to defend Billboard and whatever metric they use to rate their hits. A Ha is often considered a one hit wonder due to "Take On Me" being their only "hit" here stateside—despite that they never ceased playing and still perform respectably in Europe.
