Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy this guitar lesson of "Red House". The lesson is played live with a backing track that I created. I played the bass and the drums were played by an awesome drummer Mr. Steve DiVirgilio - thanks (great job Steve)! The amps used were the Marshall 2005 handwired 1959 100 Watt Plexi (on camera). The other amp (off camera) was a Marshall JCM 900 SL-X 100 Watt (bone stock - this is one of my many favorite Marshall's.....I have several of these). I used a Keeley Framptone amp switcher to run both amps at the same time. The cabs used (on camera) is a 1960AHW, it's loaded with reissue Celestion G12H-30 speakers (awesome - this one of my favorite Celestion Speakers)! The other cab (off camera) is a Marshall bottom cab loaded with Celestion G12M Heritage (my all time favorite speaker). The Mics used are a Heil PR30 and PR40 (I use these Mics exclusively in this combination for all my recordings...(the quality of the Heil is exceptional)! The gain is the amps themselves (actually not a lot). There is a Orbit Electronix completely reworked Echoplex on the whole solo for a slight echoing effect, then during the solo I kicked on a Keeley modded DD-3 for more delay. The guitar is a 1997 Gibson Les Paul Custom loaded with DiMarzio 36th Anniversary PAF pickups (one of my favorite DiMarzio's). Strings used are GHS Electric Burnished Pure Nickel Roundwound Gauge (10-46). I use Accusound Cables, Peterson Tuners, Essential Sound Products power cables, AF Designs Straps and last, but not least, which is also very important, I use a Dunlop ULTEX Sharp .90 pick. I truly hope this info helps just in case someone likes and wants to achieve this tone. Thanks for watching!

I have just become a Chelsea Constable fan, I love your style of playing, I know that you must work so hard to get that good but you really do make it look so natural. As mature learner I find you an inspiration

Your tone is immaculate. I am so thankful that you listed your amps and effects! I can use my Boss GT8 though my Marshall solid state stereo amp and hopefully can recreate your tone. Subbed!

Wow! I thought just for the heck of it I'd check out what "Chelsea Constable" has to say about Red House. It only took two seconds of playing for me to realize that you have awesome chops and as good or better an ear for Hendrix as anyone I've come across on youtube, and your instruction is clear and tight. Best Hendrix video I've seen! You're going to break the hearts of a lot of lesser expounders.

Japanese have a name for certain types of students in martial arts called, uchideshi. They live with their masters and do odd jobs around the dojo in exchange for lessons. Me and my guitar is coming to live with you. Just need your address. LOLOL

What has me amazed is all the talent here on YouTube. I searched your name on iTunes and came up with nothing. I don’t know I suppose it is just the ambition in me but I’m seeing dollar signs all over the place. For the past year or so I have been reading everything I can find about Rock & Roll and Rock & Roll Bands. Lately I’ve been looking at more of your YouTube postings and I have yet to see something you’ve written first. I’m a course gambling man so I’d wager that you have a fortune of songs you composed just waiting to be released to the public. You are a very talented, smart, charismatic beauty. I just hope I’m still alive when your compositions become known to the billions ‘hopefully’. That they are public now where can I hear them? You are a very special and enjoyable blessing! Thank you for taking the time to help those of us that share your interests in music learn how to play some of the songs we enjoy too.

Hi Chelsea, did you just use delay to get the airy psychedelic Jimi effect or was there other effects involved? You are really talented, thanks for the videos.
