I was in London in 2003. I went to the original Hard Rock Cafe and was escorted to "The Vault" in a building that they had purchased for expansion. In the vault was that "Flying Vee" Guitar that Jimi is playing in this Video. I was asked if I would like to play it; "Like F--- Yes" was my answer. I did and tried to bend the notes like JH did. I was cautioned "Those are the original strings" I put it down right then! But, that is a thing I will not forget doing.
