never get tired of listening to Jim Reeves looking forward to the resurrection of those whom are sleeping in death, found in God's word at Acts 24:15.

The goo old times. Will never forget them. My father was called Texas (and Ole Olsen also) because he was almost singing Country Music and we all loved Jim Reeves. One of the best voices for me. Thanks for posting it. I keep it in my heart!

The story in this ballad is eerily similar to the incident in which Jim Reeves lost his life in 1964. The only difference is that the ballad refers to a train accident that kills the driver.

That is what public opinion says. You should read Larry Jordan's acclaimed biography of Jim Reeves, that came out in 2011. He sheds new light on what actually happened on that fateful day.

Jim's voice sounds richer than a big orchestra of instruments.

So much in such a short time, what a legend. Jim is still alive and well thanks to all those wonderful people that keep sending in these legenenday reminders of a truely great man. I have heard them all and i think Jims music is the best of them all and thats my humble opinion.
