I don't believe it..I also have the 45 only I bought the original after it's release. It's still in mint condition only because I have no player to play it on! Thanks to YouTube, I'll hold off on a player! We listened to Bill Mac many a nights while my late husband and I trucked all over Texas and New Mexico! His great taste in music and wonderful personality kept us tuned in to his show. I heard he is retired now.

I have this on a 45. It's on the flip side of "WHEN TWO WORLDS COLLIDE". It's in stereo and the other side was the "plug" side. I bought this years ago at a used record store here in Dallas. I heard it on WBAP in Ft. Worth on the all night show with Bill Mac. Don't know how in the world he happened to pick this to play.

This should have been released as a single, instead RCA thought they would be 'funny' and release songs that sounded 'ironic',such as 'Is It Really Over','I Missed Me',You're Free To Go',I Heard A Heartbreak Last Night','Oh,How I Miss You Tonight',he could have been a lot more famous,But since RCA had Elvis, they didn't (and STILL don't) care about any other performer!

It's such a sad day today...my heart aches so for the children, the families who lost their love ones in Conn. My heart goes out to each and every one of you and yours. I hear this song and the first time I heard it was on a 45 rpm back in the very early 60's...it was on the reverse side of "When Two Worlds Collide."?. I lost it and many other country greats in a house fire many years ago. Thank you youtube for bringing them back. Jeannie...spokane vly, WA

To my knowledge all of Jim Reeves recordings were done in Nashville at RCA Studio (2 different locations over the years). If you are referring to the album, "A Touch of Sadness," those recordings were taken from earlier recording sessions (while Jim Reeves was alive) and then the songs were either repackaged for that album release after his death or possibly some overdub work was done too. All are on the RCA Victor label though. :)
