Forgot to add. That signature lick you hear at the very end of this record, James put on a lot of Ricky Nelson song endings. He should have trademarked it. Every guitarist in the sixties started using it to end a song.

Jim & Joe are none other than James Burton and Joe Osborn They were on a break from doing Ricky Nelsons TV show in 1963 when they recorded this instrumental for Fabor records. They also recorded "Daisy Mae and "Bimbo" on Fabor records at the same period. All were released as singles. Lots of luck finding them. you can listen to a hundred and one recordings of " Fireball Mail" and none of them use that minor note that James puts on the record and that lone note really makes the tune stand out!
