Different anyway. Remember on a visit to the USofA going to a Freddie Fender concert - he sang this and an encore! But we saw Jim Ed when he was quite elderly but what a voice....

Through the years I've heard so many versions of this song, but this is definitely one of the best. Jim Ed's deep voice is really fascinating!

Dear dvdman49 ! The first time I hear and see Jim Ed Brown was on the "Country's Family Reunion" DVD'S. Jim Ed was unknown in France (the same for Bill Anderson and many many other great composers, singers). I discover now all "old" greats recordings and for this, I say "write" thank you so much for all uploads on Youtube. O
