I have this weird sometimes obsession with looking through old Billboard Top 100 lists, mainly looking for songs I've forgotten about. This is one I loved way back when but completely forgot about. So glad to rediscover it!!

I really like this song. I am also a fan of L&O spin-off "Criminal Intent", so I immediately identified Eric Bogosian in the video clip, but I have some doubts about the girlfriend. In several scenes she seems Leslie Hendrix, who in 2000s played Dr. Rogers in Criminal Intent side by side with Bogosian, in other scenes seems another woman. My theory is the director of video clip called two similar blond actresses to play the Bogosian's girlfriend.

He was a member of Traffic, (1967 UK No.2 single 'Hole In My Shoe') and had the solo 1975 UK No.4 single 'Love Hurts'. Capaldi also worked with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and George Harrison.Jim Capaldi - That's Love From the album : Fierce Heart (1983)That's Love" is a song by British singer/songwriter Jim Capaldi. Written mostly while Capaldi was in Brazil, it developed further over the course of recording sessions in England. It was recorded for the album Fierce Heart and released as a single. The track, a simple arrangement with synthesizers, vocals, a drum machine, and an almost inaudible acoustic guitar, became Capaldi's biggest hit in the USA, climbing to number 28 in the summer of 1983.The lyrics to the song present two conflicting views of love. The verses are cynical ("Young couple there going insane / Fussing and fighting then they make up again / That's love"), while the chorus is idealistic ("You stood by me / All through the good times / And through the bad times"). The backing vocals at the end are by Steve and Nicole Winwood, who were themselves having marriage problems at the time. at this point capaldi and he were a duo of sorts. were a great trio. man if wood woulda of layed off drinking these guys would of been in that rarified field of alotta 80s guys their age. Traffic name was solid and in a couple years steve went huge for a moment. i like steve but like him better with jim and wood.
