I haven't heard this song in a long time...but I've been rocking with Jhene for a long time and I remember when she put this out and I was like did she really put this song out...she might not get sign because of how real it was and the meaning...mind you...when she first put this song/mixtape out she explained the meaning of the song and it fell right on track with what I thought...when she got signed she told a different story of what the song meant...sometimes I think thats why she put out Souled Out...

Kanye freestyled this verse on the BET cypher of 2010 and this album was released 2011.So for everyone dissing him for using the same verse ask yourself: "Why waste a good verse when you can make some money off it?" It's a classic verse that would die out if not used in an actual song. And it fits with the theme of Jhene's song pretty well. Just my opinion of course.
