My life appreciation of music was first from the Beatles, echoes in to Jethro Tull. Ian was a master song writer by blending soft hues into jazzed rock with intricate strings and flute rifts. Still a fan at 63! (Love the Floyd too!)

When I was 19 I shoot a tv commercial, as actor, and the background song was "Living in the past", first time I listened to Jethro Tull. I turned myself a fanatic a Jethromaniac. I can spend all my life listening to Jethro Tull and The Beatles only.

Anderson hated this song. I think it's one of his best ever. And it works great with the overall bridge of this album. (Requiem/One White Duck/0=Nothing At All)

Sing along, folks:Well, I saw a bird today --- flying from a bush and thewind blew it away. And the black-eyed mother sun scorched the butterflyat play --- velvet veined.I saw it burn. With a wintry storm-blown sigh, a silver cloud blewright on by.And, taking in the morning, I sang --- O Requiem.Well, my lady told me, ``Stay.''I looked aside and walked away along the Strand. But I didn't say a word, as the train time-table blurredclose behind the taxi stand.Saw her face in the tear-drop black cab window.Fading in the traffic; watched her go.And taking in the morning, heard myself singing ---O Requiem. Here I go again. It's the same old story.Well, I saw a bird today --- I looked aside and walkedaway along the Strand.
