DVD box set: http://smarturl.it/JethroTullDVD

This superb set pulls together material from Jethro Tull concerts across their career and filmed at some of their many stopovers around the globe. It reaches back as far as the legendary Isle Of Wight Festival in 1970 and as recently as the Estival in Lugano, Switzerland in 2005. Much of the material is previously unreleased. The set is packaged in a 19cm x 14cm 32 page hardback book with 2 discs in each inside cover. The book contains photos from Ian Anderson's personal archive and a text on all the different shows by Joel McIver. "Around The World Live" charts Jethro Tull's ever evolving music through blues to rock to folk to electronica with a frequently changing line-up anchored by the ever present frontman Ian Anderson.

Dark Ages: pièce d'ouverture au Forum de Montréal au mois d'octobre 1979 (Anderson-Barre-Pegg-Evans-Palmer-Barlow). Première partie: U.K.: Wetton-Jobson-Bozzio. Une soirée grandiose avec un grand G !

To answer your question: YES it is truncated. I have the original footage from 1980 put into a documentary. The song (among others from this concert) was not filmed in it's entirety.

Does this DVD have the full Dark Ages performance, or just a truncated version as shown here?

I thought Dark Ages and Rock Island are two of the most underated albums of all times. I expected either or both to be as big as Aqualung! "Dark Ages" and "Kissing Willie" are my two most favorite Tull tunes. In fact my cousin and I had a TV show we attempted and we used "Dark Ages" for our Chiller Theater type shows theme song! Very dramatic, very progressive and highly inspiring! ~ R%ckin Rik Billock

Pray tell ...what is wrong with this song ???

great execution of an extravagantly mediocre song. Stormwatch might be Ian's most forgettable album but it's still Tull.

What happened to rock music?! Why would anyone consider Nirvana legendary when Kurt could barely play 3 chords.

yo lo vi en vivo el año pasado a Ian Anderson en un concierto en Buenos Aires y sigue con la misma garra a pesar de sus 65 años.
