This is one of my favorite songs from the band Jethro Tull from my favorite album wich is called Roots to Branches.

I think Jehtro Tull is one of the best bands of the world, the music they made is unique and every song has its own story.

And I think the talent of Ian Anderson is amazing! He can sing and play the flute so great!

I know that many Jethro Tull fans will disagree, but I think that this is one of Ian Anderson's finest songs. The lyrics are so poignant and the piano and flute are just beautiful.

Sublime song on the highest quality with a certain Medieval touch, comparable to Tull's greatest work, even to "Thick as a Brick". It evidences that Ian Anderson countinued to experience extraordinary moments of musical clarity up into the latest years of the band's career. Ian, maestro de maestros!

May I recommend the concert with Jethro Tull from Madison Square garden, 1978. It is golden.

My Dad hates most rock music but I played this to him and explained how it made me feel - he got it too! That's the power of great music - it can move you to tears and fill your heart with joy all at the same time! Thank you Mr Anderson.

In particular, the line 'I'll leave you messages almost everyday' really connected with me - because I would see something or hear something almost everyday that made me think of Mum, even if only for just a moment. It really felt as if whatever it was that made me think of her had been placed there by her - just a little message to let me know that she was and always will be, still there - just in a different room, that's all.

After my dear mum passed away I found it very difficult to listen to any music for a good few weeks. When I did, this was the first song I played and it really helped me to come to terms with the sense of loss I was feeling.

Thanks, Schnuffelyugi for uploading this great song. So few people know this. I think it's their best song from this album- Roots to branches. Once a friend of mine lent it me more than 10 years ago. And I have been never heard it any more... Till this day...
