The St. Louis pop/rock station KXOK played this song by some dude named Jerry Reid/Reed(?). I never dreamed it was this Jerry Reed. The laugh in the song should have tipped me off. I heard of acid rock back in the day, but this was the first example of acid country. I've always liked this as it is so off the wall & need to check out more Jerry.13 years ago
