They oughta make a remake of Smokey and the Bandit. If so the cast should go like this (in my opinion). Larry the cable guy as Bufford T. Justice, a country superstar from the 80's or 90's like Garth Brooks or Hank Williams Jr., or you could get a comedian like Jeff Foxworthy, or Rodney Carrington, you could even get and old NASCAR driver like Darrell Waltrip or Richard Petty to play Cletus "Snowman" Snow, Jamie Pressley (the girl who played Joy on My Name is Earl) as Carrie aka Frog, Kid Rock as the Bandit, NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. to play Junior (and no I didn't do that on purpose). Johnny Knoxville as Big Enos Burdette and Wee-Man as Little Enos Burdette. As for all the minor characters get a mix of southerners and former cast members. However, for the part when they go to the trailer and arrest the wrong bandit you could get models like Brooklyn Decker and Kate Upton to play the two prostitutes. The story line could take place back in the 70's at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Big and Little Enos Burdette find the Bandit tailgating and they challenge him to go from Charlotte, NC to Texarkana, TX to haul 400 cases of illegal tax free Moonshine in 28 hours.
