I saw this movie when it first came out... and this 'whole lotta shakin' scene is all I remember from it.

The movie would have been number 1 if it was just the blonde dancing for 2 hours and they cut out the rest.

The irony is that parents of the time thought rock 'n' roll music was too raunchy and sexual. Their kids loved it, and grew up to be the parents (and some grandparents) who thought disco was too raunchy and sexual. Don't even get those 50's kids turned 80's parents who think rap and hip hop is too raunchy and sexual. Each generation has its limits to musical style. My parents belonged to the kids of the Jerry Lee Lewis generation who now look down on rap music. Lol

I hate Hollywood productions. Their views on what really happened back in the day doesn't come close to capturing the essence of the 50's . It seems like they don't even bother to do their homework and just mass commercialize their own views of an iconic performer. Sub par movie, as most bio pics are.
