Recorded live in concert in Auburn, California. September 2012. In an amazing acoustic solo concert, Jerry Jeff Walker performs the classic "Contrary to Ordinary." The song was written by Billy Jim Baker, and has been something of a rarity for several decades. Mr. Walker first recorded the song in the mid 70's, but that original vinyl album, "Contrary To Ordinary," has been long out of print. Luckily, this has now been rectified with a November 2013 CD release (which pairs the "Contrary to Ordinary" album with the album "It's a Good Night for Singing") on a 2-cd set.

Great video, it's my favorite tune and I've gone to a number of his shows and I've never seen him perform it. It's still on my bucket list. Also, thanks for the heads up on the CD release, mine just arrived today.
