A legend, Jerry's playing is beyond phenomenal and luminous, I agree, the greatest Dobro player who has ever graced the instrument. Solo, with Alison Kraus & union Station, his many side projects & bands, with Bela Fleck, his soundtrack work, just a titan of roots music & exquisite beauty.

I saw Jerry with Allison, Tony Rice, and Union Station in DC. I took my mom for mothers day. Jerry Played a blues for 15 minutes with Jerry Rice. Wow! My ticket was only $50. Jerry and company got robbed for what they did for that crowd. Amazing.

Are you Dan Brooks Mom?.I am sure all good dobro players have little "things" that make them unique, but for every question Jerry asked Dan...Dan probably had ten.....I haven't seen a thing about accolades for Dan, but if anyone is looking for super great dobro playing....Jerry is at the top of the list.Look at the grammys.......
