+jobriathboy Hey Sean,I do indeed still have my cassette of the rough mix of The Silent Majority. Brian gave it to me about 6 to 8 weeks before it came out. I remember thinking it sounded a little muddy, but I reasoned that it was due to it being a rough mix, AND on cassette. I was a little bummed when it came out and sounded almost just like what I already had. To me, the choice of producer, AND going out to Nebraska or wherever it was is what greatly helped lead to the bands demise. I was at The Whisky the night ALL of the labels had their people out to see this "crazy band of misfits" from Chicago, and this singer, Stanley. At that time, it was either the most, or second most, to Guns n' Roses "coming out party" for a label to sign these guys. Mike Clink was there, (who DID produce Apettite For Destruction, and wanted badly to produce LSD). They wound up going with John Purdell because he had done a good job on Ozzy's No More Tears. Clink had done UFO' Obsession as assistant to Ron Nevison, and Slash LOVED that sound. Plus, LSD and White Zombie were both getting a lot of airplay on Beavis And Butthead, and that translated to tons of new fans, etc. I have always believed that if Clink or Nevison had done Silent Majority they would have struck dynamite! White Zombie became, well, you know what they became. My pals could have gone supersonic. Hard to even imagine.Anyway, I live in Burbank, Cali. You can throw a stone in any direction and hit a recording studio. I'm going to try and get ahold of Eric Valentine, and see if he would copy it for me. He did Slash's R&Fn'R album, and Apocolyptic Love. I am really tight with Tony Hudson, Slash's Dad. Not that it may matter, but maybe he will burn me a few. I'll let you know what happens. You can email me direct atjoseph.johnny@gmail.comPlease send me your direct email too, so I can communicate with you easier.Peace Bro.Johnny Joseph

This is an awesome song and I see that 1 person would rather listen to death metal that don't have melody or a groove just shitty blast beats that no one can dance too, rather then music that is much more creative and not about monsters and evil like Cannibal Corpse or Six Feet Under... That stuff is crap.
