@loveforlovesake Barbra Streisand debuted the song through her 1989 album "Till I Loved You". Quincy Jones produced that track. Later, he released an equally stunning version with Siedah Garrett for his 1990 album "Back on the Block". Both cuts featured all-star backup vocal casts.

great version, the brilliant Quincy Jones certainly knows how to craft an outstanding anthematic pop song, prefer this version to the hysterical vocals done by Chaka Khan, Siedah Garret etc on "Back On The Block". JR performed this a few weeks ago at Emperor's Palace in Johannesburg, accompanied by the Drakensberg Boys Choir - FANTASTIC, had the crowd begging for an encore! THANKS for posting

@loveforlovesake Quincy's version is the best! But Barbra did it first.

@marky50100 @marky50100 Everybody's got there own style I guess. Have you heard the original? It's by Chaka Khan, Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones & Siedah Garrett, from Quincy's 'Back on the Block' album. I really love the original!
