people keep comparing Houston to Hudson anthem but keep in mind Hudsons was live Houstons wasn't. Houstons was recorded earlier in the day due to security concerns back in 91 during the gulf war. So Houston wasn't actually singing it live like Hudsons was, she was lip syncing to her own voice that she recorded earlier. i'm sure Hudsons would have sounded even better then it did live if it was recorded too.
