Beautiful! I think it's great that she is keeping this song alive for younger generations to enjoy. I think it is as unfair to compare this version to Jennifer as it is to compare Gladys Knight''s Georgia On My Mind to Ray Charles' version.

Love this song. Love Gladys Knight singing it. JH did it justice though. The only difference is that you can hear the emotion of the song when GK sings it.........you feel it to your core.

The woman can sing, absolutely. Gladys Knight is a hard act to follow, but Jennifer holds her own with her cover of this classic. I was hoping to her a little more in terms of Jennifer's interpretation and phrasing than I found here, but she did just fine. I read an earlier comment that she would've been right in her element during the Motown and STAX days and I agree. Having said that, I'm glad she's sharing her talent now so that people can hear a truly wonderful young singer. She should be around for a long, long time.

I think many have it misunderstood Jennifer sung this in an octave higher than the original i would had loved to hear her sing it in Gladys register because i can see her doing it just as good if it was in Gladys register Gladys is an alto and Jennifer is a bonafied soprano if people understood that more that would rviealize Jen did an awesome job via her nitch
