Who would have guessed where the sax player Kenny G(orelick) would end up!

Definitely my favorite on this album. Whenever I listen to this song, I feel like I am right on the Gulf shore of the Ft. Myers, FL area. Bright sun, hot and balmy weather; palm trees of many kinds, and exquisite sounding birds. Also, beautiful roads that are actually enjoyable to drive on.

Another example of Jeff bringing Kenny through the ranks. Kenny was slammin through all of his own albums...until Songbird..which earned him a lot of recognition and money..but...at that point.. he left behind the flavor and that funky calling card...forever.. The Jeff Lorber "camp" did what it was designed to do. After that, you're on your own. Stay true Jeff. Never leave you flavor behind. Great writing through all the years. Thanks for all the work shops. You taught us so much over time.

I remember learning this song note for note in high school. Mom used to tell she always knew when I was sad because I would always practice this song.

ahhh.....Kenny Gorelick on woodwinds, b 4 he became "Kenny G"....wish he and Jeff would collaborate on some new, "old school Jazz Fusion" like this excellent cut! This is music!

Jazz Fusion @ its best. Nostalgic, song from my childhood, reminds me especially of Oaktown and the old Crocker Highlands/Lakeshore 'hood. A song 2 play @ my furneral/memorial service...if anyone has one 4 me!....
