I played Healey's in Toronto a LOT before he passed. What a sweetheart this man was. He actually bought a venue in which he could attempt to keep the blues alive - even though he knew he was dying. He never gave up on the music. I miss this man.12 years ago

The fist time that I saw Jeff healey was on TV on a show called Sunday with Dave Sanborn. He had one of his session men play bass. I thought that the bass players eyes were going to pop out of his head when Healey did a mad guitar run at the end. Great stuff. RIP12 years ago

Jeff Healey always amaized me even the best of the best guitar players have to look at their fret boards now and then but Jeff could'nt of course he did it all by touch and memory.I love the the little trick when he stands up to play, the bass player gets behind him so he can get his berings to sit back down again.12 years ago
