I love finding recordings of Jeff I haven't heard yet. This is beautiful. I wish I could have attended one of his gigs.Too bad I have to settle with such bad recordings, just because almost no one acknowledged the importance of recording these things.. They took this amazing talent for granted without thinking of an option that in less than two months after this show he wouldn't be here for us to enjoy his performances. RIP Jeff. You're the tear that hangs inside my soul, forever.

this version is absolutely the better one solely due to the fact that it's a raw look at the dynamics of what and where he was in his head with this exact piece at the time of it's existence. Then again it comes down to a matter of taste as well, are you a clean freak or can you handle or appreciate the grit.

I believe this track was done BEFORE the demos on Sketches, but I could be wrong.

I prefer this to the Sketches version. There's a bit more jamming and its not as stiff

@FaithIsAnnoyed Perhaps, perhaps not. Almost all his songs exist in various forms that are vastly different to each other, so even the finalized versions from Grace weren't definitive, and he seemed to enjoy mixing it up every now and then, so I don't think he'd ever have made a "final version" of any song.
