These are classic albums and forerunners to heavy metal and other genres. I just hear it differently than some of the other postings.

This footage is actually from the April 1969 recording sessions for the Beck-Ola album.

Quality Service

Song writting and composition has never been Becks strong suite, as brilliant a guitarist that he is, Still none the less most of the albums are weak and disjointed

In my opinion Beck Ola was one of the worst albums ever recorded. The material they had wasn't all that bad. Just sounded bad and disorganized for my liking. It's really too bad since this was really a great group. JB fans deserved better

phenomenal! If Beck was lackadaisical he sure could afford it talent-wise!

According to the notes in the remaster of Beck-Ola, Plynth and Rice Pudding were recorded on 19 April 1969.

To what there is now, look at the primitive equipment in the control room ! Mickey Most founded RAK studios In St.John's Wood around 1976. He went to the nearest pub, The Star, a lot. The musicians still do. A nice guy, I spoke to him a few times. A pity he passed away. I liked his no nonsense attitude with the musicians here.

Wonderful stuff! Not seen it before. Micky Most was a 95% pure/free range old school jerk but he did a great production job on 'Truth'. This is 'Plynth (Water Down The Drain) from Beckola. Altogether now.......I've woken up on mornings such as this. And thought exactly the same as I'm thinking now. Every night for a year I've slept alone. My cold damp room looks worse than me! Priceless! Are you listening Zepp fans?
