You know why nobody can recreate this stuff? because all it takes is a bunch of mics, some marshalls , distortion box, chemistry.and an engineer falling asleep at the controls. Oh yeah talent helps lol

This album was recorded with all the perfect solos, especially "Got the Feeling and Situation, it the live version which is disjointed, and the Master guitar tries to hard to be not like the original recording, but, I still love the song, vocals and all the players they kick ass!

@unclejunglebass It's not just you... clearly this comes off as weird.. but the band is all on point and I LOVE the comment below .. Beck doesn't seem to solo he wisecracks but it's some compelling stuff. All bow and hail the model for David St. Hubbins from spinal tap. I don't know.. this stuff is growing on me.. it's interesting. What might have been with this band!

Great band, but I am not that fond of the singer. This is just my musical taste, but this is my least favourite of Beck's material.
