Only Zappa recording on blue note if I'm correct.

Still one of my favorites. I've always wished Zappa would have focused on composing, arranging, and producing jazz and classical. On the other hand, he had bills to pay and mouths to feed.

I downloaded the entire mp3 album from Amazon for $6.99. Maybe you're not in the US???

so you've seen zappa plays zappa? is that how you base your assessment of dweezil? not that i think his work is bad, i quite enjoyed his shows. nothing wrong with keeping franks music alive, and i'd rather see him do it than anyone else. you sure as fuck won't hear it on the radio. and, you dumb shit, the word is illusion not allusion. blew your entire 'smart guy' post. how would you like to have a head like that?

I saw him performing in Alberta Canada of all places. He was working with Beefheart and the group got booed off the stage. The Mothers followed, to much of the upraised fisting and I was sorely disappointed. Nonetheless, my four hour bus trip to see Tripp with Beefheart was a blowout. There will always be his outstanding percussive work on Uncle Meat! Immortal, eh.
