'She's Gone, Gone, Gone' written by Harlan Howard, featured on the 1978 album 'My Home Ain't In The Hall Of Fame'
Back of CD Notes:
J.D. Crowe, one of the most progressive bluegrass band leaders of the second generation, has always been known for his consummate taste in music and musicians. When Keith Whitley joined the New South, Crowe built a new sound for his band, a sound that combined their love of bluegrass and classic honky-tonk and western swing influences. Whitley bridged the gap between Crowe's various influences beautifully and effortlessly, and 'My Home Ain't In The Hall Of Fame' is the proof. J.D. Crowe and Keith Whitley had come together at just the right time for Whitley to emerge as a top-class singer and to expand his horizons as the New South further evolved into one of the most inventive and exciting music in country and bluegrass music.
