Jaylib - The Mission video free download

(Flashback Series video #1) This one's for you DiLLA & Madlib! In the memory of "James Dewitt Yancey" aka "Jaydee", your spirit lives on & on man. salute :) This channel wouldn't exist without these 2 legends. In the 90's I used to stay up til 4am or 5am to listen to both of these Cat's music growing up. Starting with Phat & Jaydee and Madlib's Lootpack 95/96, also props to the whole "90's underground hip hop college radio movement". Props to those community supported radio stations that also represented during those years. That so special as a fan, and I'm so glad I was there to witness what was going on during those years. By 99' I got to see Jaydee perform with the original Slum Village, Baatin (RIP), Phat Kat, Tribe, etc. It was my favorite concert ever, but I never would of thought that years later Jaydee would be taken from us. That's why this edit/tribute means a lot to me, cause I was a true fan of theirs since the beginning. When he died, I was so happy to see that all those same underground college shows, internet hip hop shows, satellite, etc, pay tribute. RIP Jaydee! Your music lives on... & to Madlib keep this magic going my brother. Thank u both!
