thanks Jay. I read your comments, very helpful. I am picking the 2017 model up today for half price from a guy who won it in a contest. This will be my first 7 string and wanted to get something quality without breaking the bank. I was having doubts before watching your video. Not anymore =) btw I got a good laugh when you put the mask on.

also these guitars have stainless steel frets and are very,very well constructed...I have both..a JL-7- 2015 EMG-7string NT. and a 2016 JL -7 blackouts FR floyd rose....they are both excellent guitars...very stable and stay in tune wonderfully.

Better than the EMG's!! Kemper there too so all ticks in the box!! :) dont forget to try the cleans its does okay on the cleans. Did any one else see a wold mask in the solo or did i drink too much beer?
