Jesus, Perry gave the bouncers a f'n workout with that one. He looked like a madman up there and had the crowd ready to tear the place down. F'n awesome!

I was at this show. I'll never forget Perry's "colorful" little speeches he'd do in-between some of the songs. I also remember a woman covering her child's ears during them, & huge bonfires all over the lawn area. Wild times for sure.

This was one of the greatest concert experiences of my life, maybe THE greatest. I come back to this page once a month for the exhilaration.

??? wow ?? It was just a vivid memory. I like to write stuff sometimes about stuff I remember. I don't even know who you're talking to.

I was at this show, and being huge bootleg video collector, I never knew this video existed. i hope there is more where this came from, time to investigate...

@Zillaman67 If you were into Metallica when Kill "Em All was out, you would seem to be old enough to have outgrown that juvenile attitude of "I liked them firsties!!! so I'm cooler, and whoever discovered them later sucks and are just posers.". Guess not.

Well, do you feel better now having gotten your daily usage of nigger out of the way? And, to a black guy this time at that! Congratulations! Seems you're the one who needs to "sit back, relax and enjoy the music." My comment was no more ridiculous than the one I responded to. Whether or not you "care", means fuck-all to me. But, if my comment isn't something you can relate to from personal experience, then my advice would be for YOU to "STFU" and mind your fucking business.

RIGHT ON! My best friend back in the day was a bandmate who just happened to be a "jar-head". You didn't see me crying in my beer after I turned him onto JA, MLB, etc. His g/f was kind of a goth-type, so, I think he may have already been receptive to different and new sounds anyway and just needed an extra push. By the same turn, he borrowed my EWF and WAR LP's and turned me onto LZ, ZZ Top, and Queen, among others. It all worked out. We can all learn from each other. No need to be divisive.

We all miss Andy. That goes without saying. SG has a new LP coming out this fall. OF COURSE I remember Gruntruck. Not sure how many outside of 206 even know who that is though. Had beers with Ben once at some point between '96-'99. He was thinking of quitting then. Rocked hard at way too many of their shows, though, me. One of the best live bands in town back then for sure. Tim Paul's live rig was insane good! Best live bass rig in town at the time. Hands down. No one else even came close.

Nice! And, how's that working out for you now, dear? Feeling a bit better?

I see all the talk about Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc., etc. Personally I miss the fuck out of Andrew Wood (R.I.P.) and MOTHER LOVE BONE. And I'd like to see a SOUNDGARDEN reunion with a new album! Anyone remember the awesome GRUNTRUCK???

Agreed. We have ZERO control over the jar-heads and the like who suddenly discover it's 'cool' to be into certain bands. My example would be when I was the first guy to rock Metallica's 'Kill 'Em All' album in my neighborhood on my 'boombox'. They all called it 'shitty noise'...by the time 'Master of Puppets' came out, they ALL listened to Metallica. Hey-life went on. We can't stop liking bands or hold grudges because other people 'catch on'. It's just time to discover MORE great music!
