It has taken me over 25 years to finally track down this Zager and Evans cover, a German produced dance, energy version by Australian singer Jane Rossi. I had originally recorded 7" version onto a cassette tape from Ö3 Austrian radio back in 1983, but only learned the artist's name about a year ago. After finally finding the ultra rare 12" I sat down, cleaned the up the almost mint recording and extended the beginning and ending a bit. Just to make it perfect. ;-) Enjoy!

fantastic job !! ~ thanks ~ a really classic song ~ did you know the original artist (Denny Zager of Zager & Evans) has been making beautiful guitars for over forty years and continues strong to this day. I just discovered the original 1969 recording of this just the other day. Was looking for remixes and came across this, and let me tell you, she ROCKS! But did she record anything else other than this because I can't seem to find anything about her anywhere!12 years ago
