+dreamscapejanitor most of jandek's albums are based around one single chord progression - or even just one chord.

The more Jandek I hear, the more I wish I had enough money to purchase his entire catalog....

which guy? Jandek? he does a concert now and then, and there is a growing following of people who buy his stuff, but i don't think it's BIG (this song's got less than 10k views, know what i mean?). In the 70s, 80s he was pretty much a completely unknown recluse, outside musician and i figured he HAD to do something else for a living...

Yea, for sure, it is. A lot of Jandek albums are centred around one chord progression (check out Ready For The House).

Is that a television I can hear in the background, or music playing? Now I have noticed this it has added a whole other dimension to his music.

One of my favorite Jandek tracks. This one is so good. If anyone hasn't heard much by Jandek, try 'For Today' and 'When the Telephone Melts', both of those are masterpieces.
