Hey There,Matako 07 is obviously quite clueless, I like how he says he's coming from a place as a musician. Already take that as a grain of salt, there are so many "musicians" out there who have no clue as to what they are talking about and have the worst taste in music and a bum ear. The whole debate about rehashing and the like is such a idiotic thing to say. This guy has obviously completely missed the point. Of course you can hear the different elements of this music, anywhere from rock, to jazz to disco and the like. So it's as if to say I love Marley so I will never listen to his kids , the Fugees and other bands and singers influenced my him because it's not the original....or better yet let's not listen to Prince ....because Chuck Berry did it first....lol! I really pity this guy.A good artist, whatever genre they choose are completely influenced and then make it their own , Jamiroquai is not trying to re-invent the wheel. His style is unique. Its what he does and does it flawlessly and for the past twenty years... he will be around for a lot longer . Have you Matako?11 years ago
