Normally, James Taylor is a good guy and a respectable artist. But let's face it - Mr. Taylor should be charged with murder for what he did to this song.

Amazingly enough, nobody in the crowd is watching the show through a cellphone screen. They are actually using their eyes for the purpose they were intended. They are free to clap their hands, dance and enjoy themselves. What a brilliant idea.

I'm a HUUUUUGE Michael Buble fan. But James Taylor, no one can perform this as cool and buttery as you can.

Call me a convert, call me born again. For 40 years I couldn't figure out how Sweet Baby James got regal billing with the greats. Appearing at all the top gigs, I was ignorantly confounded. Well Thanks to my buddy who has been working on me for a few years and now with these great videos from Nina Co I am seeing the light. Full respect for James Taylor from then to now. Thanks Nina.

His greatness endures. Just saw him two nights ago (Wilkes Barre PA) and aside from appearances, the music and performance hasn't faltered. Amazing.

Staying with the softer side of things for now, here's one for the ones who have ever felt like this. Sweet love, can anything be better? There is nothing quite like having a woman to love for a man. She provides him with a place to go, someone to be there while he is feeling down. He can say things to her and tell her things he could never tell a man. It is the softness in his hard life, and he is for her too, but also the one who makes her feel safe. It is that way, a two way street of returned affections.

God...1979 seems like it was an eternity ago...Don't let anyone say the 70's were without good times...A lot of great music from this decade.
