The song is about someone turning to religion after having suicidal.thoughts after the death of his girlfriend, and I envision the person in the song finding God and having a sort of reawakening. Also stop saying Kurt wouldn't like these covers. He did his own thing with many songs... plus you can't ask him anyway so piss off.
